Author Rosanna Leo’s Vice gives new meaning to the term “happy ending.” I stopped counting after the first twenty or so, but I have a feeling, her heroine, Kate Callendar has not. If you want to take your romantic fantasies to the next level, this is the book for you because it has it all:
A wealthy hero that Kate initially despises because of who he is and what he does for a living? Check. A sweep-you-off-your-feet kind of hero who can make you forget not only who you are but who and what he is? Check. A hero who is insatiable for you and only you? Check. A hero with a troubled past he’d like to forget and doesn’t want to talk about? Check. Kate has her hands (and her mouth) full figuratively and literally with Liam Doyle.
Set in Las Vegas, Vice explores the destructive side of the gambling industry while also forcing the reader, along with the protagonists, to see that there are two sides to every issue. Both Liam and Kate use sex (the steamy-hot can’t-keep-my hands-and-mouth -off-you variety) to avoid facing past and present problems they don’t want to deal with, but they bond through that connection and come out stronger for it.
If you enjoy a romance novel that will kick start your own fantasy (or relationship), or possibly take it in a new direction, I highly recommend you read Vice.
